01. XXX

Going to leave this one blank, after all the best SUV is the one that suits YOUR needs, no matter how tall, short, young or old you may be. :)

02. Citroen C4 Aircross

This is a sexy car, test drive of the car shows its decades above every car we drove. styling is perfect, ride is the smoothest ride I ever had.

Steering is perfect, it glides down the motorway, options have been really well thought through, everything in a very smart position. The USB interface is in the right position, cup holders all nicely thought through. GPS touch screen all good. Only fault is the push start button it takes a few seconds to start up, but thats the same with every touch button start up car. So call me fussy. The car is built on the same structure as the Mitsubishi but refined allot to European customer standards. Citroen has just now come out with an SUV so 2013 is its historic landmark and they really launched it well.

Its not available in the UK only in Europe. So has that air of exclusivity to it.

03.Range Rover Evoque

Its up there in the number 3, because if you buy the one with the full options you get a nice little car.

I like the cool GS screen which allows you the driver and the passenger to see different screens, your passenger can watch TV while you watch the sat nav. I like the ride its not bad actually, go for the option which gives you the monster wheels and you to can look like a pimp or a drug dealer.

There is some problems which stop this from being the best of the best. The rear view mirror is like a letter box, you cant see much behind you, and the rear seats do not offer much room because the roof slopes down, part of the styling apparently. The steering wheels is ugly as hell, looks like it was stolen from an old tractor and the dashboard is just as ugly. The price is a little over the top for what you get and it could be a little taller. Not bad though, If they change the above problems it would be the perfect car. But..............just not yet.

Dear Misses Beckham, good job, if you fix the above problems we will all worship you every day :)

04 Audi

All Audi's up to the Q5 mark is made for little people. The seating position is rubbish, the ride is crap, the price is insane, the options are a rip off and the sales people do not give a crap about what is right for you.

Audi's pricing strategy is just mental, options which other car companies give away as standard you pay for as options at Audi. Charging £1000 for a bottle of milk does not make it any better than one that costs £1. But they do offer a wide range of options, even though you mostly cant have the options you selected because you cant just have any options, they have to be compatible..........load of rubbish.

Fuel economy is not bad, depending on which model you go for. The Audi Q5 is not my first choice, having test drove the vehicle for an hour my legs started to feel uncomfortable and I felt like I was going to dive out of the windscreen, its just the seating position, its rubbish.

Audi have just bought its new factory site in mexico, so your European Audi will be built by the Mexicans. (Not saying there is anything wrong with that)

05. BMW

The BMW X3 is made for smurfs.

Little people with blue skin, white hats and short legs, and for people who never driven any of the more premium BMW's or other SUV's ever before. Or in fact any other vehicle on the planet, because if they did they would see that they have been screwed.

Just like drivers of the little BMW 1 series who dont really have a BMW but rather a substitute for a BMW with the BMW badge. The BMW X3 is a complete joke. I had more room in a mini, no joke. There is no leg room if your over 5ft tall, if your 6ft tall forget it, you will not fit anywhere in this car, Its 5th place because there are little people and for these people, and with a little (or allot) of imagination it may appear to be ok. Thats the only reason its on 5th place, for over 5ft tall people I would put this at 8th/9th place.

And the real joke is the price ha ha ha.(in Europe, Not USA where all cars seem to cost $1)

06. Nissan

The new 2013 Nissan Qashqai  looks old before you even get in it. Nothing special at all, looks like it was made in 2001. Handles slow, drives slow, rubbish options, not comfortable, its a Nissan, try telling your friends in the pub you drive a Nissan. Most of the other cars in their range are also damn ugly. Not really much choice on options. But the parking camera is cool as it shows more than the average parking sensor camera does, but only if you pay for the additional option and they really screw you for this, it is not cheap. You can chose 17 or 18 inch rims which is nice, The shape though is really not nice. The drive feels weird as you dont really stand out as driving a new car. The customer service is rubbish, but we only visited a few, but generally we found all the showrooms where run down and as outdated as their cars. If you just retired this is not a bad option for you. You might even appreciate the 1990 styling as it brings back old memories.

07.Opel

The Opel Antara looks rubbish. But it drives better than the number 8, 9 and 10 below.
Its looks are ugly, the seating position is rubbish, the build is a bit unrefined and it looks ugly, oh I said that.
Its got nothing going for it and all the options are rubbish, you dont get much of a choice. everything in the wrong place and its ugly. :) Its as slow as hell, almost on a par with the Hyndai.
Depreciates like a bentley and drives like a shopping trolly. Avoid at all costs.
